TIP Blog is One Month Old

It has been just over one month since I started actively posting on The Income Portfolio (TIP) Blog. It is a very short time frame, but it feels like I have been doing this for a long time.

So far…

I started slowly with about one post in a week. In the third week, I got hooked and started posting more frequently. I did not have much content on my blog spot and hence, there was practically no traffic and subscriber list was empty.

From third week onwards, I started to see some change. There was deluge of visits. The cumulative traffic on TIP Blog went from single digit per day (in first two weeks) to 600+ projected page views per month (by third week). I do not see much value in these number yet, because (1) I got lot of redirects from my other blog, which are not sustainable (2) I would like to wait for atleast three months to see what is the progress).  As of today, the traffic seems to be averaging at approximately 1280 projected page views per month. The subscriber list went from zero (in first two weeks) to 30+ (as of today). Wow what a jump!

What’s next…

I now believe I have a platform to interact with like-minded fellow bloggers. I hope to continue frequent postings and continue to share my experiences in my quest for building a sizeable passive cash flow.

  • I will be posting my stock analysis process. I will discuss my due diligence process that I follow before I initiate a position.
  • I will post analysis of few stocks such as Nestle India, Cipla, NTPC, Hindustan Unilever, Piramal Health, GAIL, and more such dividend based stocks.
  • I have instituted a carnival titled “India Stocks Mania”. Twice a month, I will publish the article title, summary, and back links to originating blogs from whom I receive the articles. I will not include the whole article (just the back link). The purpose is to share our knowledge and understanding of Indian equity markets and continue the learning process. I encourage you to submit your articles to this carnival. Articles can be submitted using the link to the extreme right side bar or at Blog Carnival.

In addition, if you have any comments, questions, you can either leave comments or send me a message through “Contact” page in menu list. I express my sincere thanks to all the readers/subscribers of this blog. I hope you will continue this journey with me.

So hop in and ride along with me!

    Hi,
    My name is Caren.

I find your site and the selection of resources very interesting.

I have a good credit card website that contains much useful information for your readers. There’s a fine set of articles that reveal all pros and cons of credit cards, give tips how to reduce credit card debt and establish good credit.

If it agrees with your policy, I would like to place a banner on top header and/or link in middle of fresh post at your site.

Please let me know if you are interested via email caren@acclaimnetwork.com
    Thank you for your time,

    Regards,
    Caren.

    Hi,
I work for Linkstar, a leading broker of online advertising, dealing with many thousands of independent webmasters worldwide. We currently have a client in the Financial industry for whom we are looking to acquire advertising from quality websites. I’ve had a look at this blog and think that it would be a good match for our client, whose target demographic is similar to your own. We would be interested in purchasing advertising in the form of a text-based link on your site. To reduce unnecessary admin and hassle, we prefer to pay a fixed annual upfront fee for such advertisements. Once the ad has been placed, payment can be made quickly by PayPal or moneybookers. If you are interested, please get back to me with your rates etc. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards AAndrews.
